The Full Story
Microsoft has once again proven that their concept of a security overhaul is about as effective as a paper umbrella in a monsoon, leaving Windows users vulnerable to the charmingly named TotalRecall Reloaded tool. This latest triumph of engineering allows local malware to help itself to your screenshots and text in plaintext, bypassing the need for administrative privileges because who needs security when you have convenience? Anyone unlucky enough to have this feature active is currently hosting a buffet for same-user malware. Shielding oneself from this helpful feature requires disabling the tool entirely or at least acknowledging that 'secure design' is used very loosely these days.
