Unpatchable silicon, my favorite.
Apple's A12 and A13 chips have a hardware flaw that permanently allows arbitrary code execution. At least I don't have to write a patch for it.

The Full Story
Security researchers have gifted us 'usbliter8,' a lovely exploit targeting a hardware flaw forever burned into Apple's A12 and A13 silicon. Since this code is permanently scorched into the ROM, my useless patching skills are completely powerless to fix it. This particular headache affects anyone holding these specific older devices, provided the attacker has physical custody of the hardware. Defending our sanity from this physical intrusion nightmare means keeping our devices locked away in a safe or physically guarding them from anyone holding a custom microcontroller board.
