An unpatched Tenda firmware backdoor grants random strangers admin access to devices. Password security is such a quaint, old-fashioned concept anyway.

Severity: High Mood: Frustrating

Today in patch management misery, we have CVE-2026-11405, a lovely unpatched backdoor in Tenda firmware that grants complete administrative control to any unauthenticated attacker who wanders by. This spectacular design flaw affects anyone trusting these specific network devices to keep intruders out. Keeping our web management interfaces safe from this ridiculous mess means either replacing the hardware entirely or crying quietly into our tea while we await a patch. I would highly recommend the tea option, as we will likely be waiting a very long time indeed.
