The Full Story

Severity: High Mood: Ridiculous

Swedish residential developer Bonava landed on ExfilSquad's ransomware leak site on July 26, 2026, because keeping corporate files secret is obviously asking too much. Extortionists allegedly walked away with a modest 842,000 records packed with customer PII, repair cases, and contractor details. Protecting corporate databases and customer records from exfiltration apparently remains a secondary concern for modern homebuilders. Why bother securing sensitive files when we can simply gift contractor information and customer data to extortion groups?
