Police portals weaponized for espionage

In a shocking twist that surprised absolutely no one in IT, hackers have weaponized the Balochistan Police Portal for espionage. This sustained campaign targets several Pakistani law enforcement organizations, courtesy of suspected China- and India-aligned threat actors. To protect our own setups from similar embarrassment, we must secure our portals before they become launchpads for international spies. I suppose keeping law enforcement portals secure was simply asking far too much of the system.
