The Full Story
Just another Tuesday in IT, with PHP rushing out its second Windows package rebuild in five days because the first effort was clearly too optimistic. Administrators running PHP versions 8.2 through 8.5 are the lucky recipients of this chaos, gifted a lovely Brotli library flaw that happily lets miscreants corrupt memory. Keeping our sanity intact requires repeatedly deploying these revised official bundles before someone executes remote arbitrary code on our servers. Nothing says quality engineering quite like patching a patch within the same working week.
