The Full Story
Quantum computing firm Quantinuum somehow managed to get hit by the Incransom ransomware group on August 1, 2026, because of course they did. These lovely threat actors allegedly grabbed pre-IPO corporate data while everyone presumably pretended patch management actually works. To protect ourselves from whatever exfiltration volume occurred, we apparently just sit back and await further disclosures from the ransomware gang itself. It is truly inspiring to see advanced computing companies fall victim to the exact same predictable nonsense as everyone else.
