Oh look, another firewall disaster

Here we go again with seventy-five thousand Fortinet firewalls apparently acting as password-dispensing machines for attackers. This particular headache impacts an absolute mountain of network administrators who presumably thought their shiny security appliances would actually protect things. If we want to prevent our entire network perimeter from collapsing like a cheap tent, we must immediately rotate every single password associated with these devices instead of sitting on our hands. Honestly, I do wonder why we even bother with firewalls when we ignore the basics of credential rotation.
