Military health data leaked. Shocking.

In yet another triumph for administrative competence, TriWest Healthcare Alliance has leaked private medical data. At least 2,408 Texas veterans and service members now have their records floating around. Shielding ourselves from these recurring compliance nightmares requires implementing strict database encryption and tight access controls, assuming we can find the budget and motivation. At this point, we might as well post our health records online to save the hackers the trouble.
