Severity: High Mood: Expected

It seems Pitney Bowes has generously donated 8.2 million customer records to the ShinyHunters group via a standard phishing link that we all supposedly learned about years ago. This logistical marvel managed to expose names and phone numbers because one employee apparently found a malicious email far too tempting to ignore. We are told the environment is secured now, which is a bit like locking the barn door after the horse has joined a traveling circus. To protect our own sanity and data, one might consider that revoking access is lovely, but perhaps not clicking on digital candy would be a better starting point for the workforce.
