HBX Group’s Spanish hospitality empire is currently hosting the uninvited Qilin ransomware crew, who are making themselves quite at home with the firm's sensitive data. This festive group is demanding negotiations, which is a lovely way of saying they’ve got the company over a barrel. Protecting the perimeter involves more than just optimism and firewalls that actually work, alongside backups that aren't also encrypted. It would be nice if people stopped clicking on things, but I suppose that’s a pipe dream in this industry.
