GopherWhisper has been spotted abusing perfectly legitimate services to deploy their custom Go-based loaders and injectors against unsuspecting government targets. These actors are showing us once again that our trust in standard services is the ultimate vulnerability that no one seems particularly interested in fixing. Keeping these unwelcome guests out of government networks involves scrutinizing "trusted" traffic with the same level of suspicion I reserve for a "voluntary" weekend maintenance window.
