The Full Story

Severity: High Mood: Frustrating

Just another Tuesday in IT, as unpatched Fortinet appliances deliver PivotC2 remote access trojans right into victim networks. This high-severity, unauthenticated CVE-2025-25249 flaw was patched way back in January 2026, yet here we are watching attacks happen anyway. Protecting ourselves from this tedious mess requires the radical, unthinkable act of actually deploying Fortinet's January patch. Why do we even bother releasing fixes when everyone treats patching as an optional hobby?
