The Full Story
WordPress site owners are once again discovering that their plugins are actually just invitations for remote code execution. This lovely vulnerability has been left open for two months, surely providing attackers with plenty of time to get comfortable in the infrastructure. Keeping systems locked down requires the tedious chore of keeping software updated, a concept that continues to elude the masses while I pour another cup of lukewarm, bitter coffee.
