Our friends at UK production studio INK are currently discovering the joys of the DragonForce ransomware cartel, who have supposedly nabbed their sensitive records in an opportunistic mid-June global campaign. Because nothing says summer like extortion, these lovely criminals are threatening to leak everything unless a settlement is reached. I suppose we can all protect our own precious data by either funding these hackers' summer holidays through a prompt settlement or simply hoping they overlook our existence entirely during their busy global tour. Same story, different day, isn't it?
