Some 2.6 million people are finding their dental records scattered across the internet thanks to the ShinyHunters collective. We could try guarding our data like it actually has value, but given the current state of industry apathy, I suppose we should just get used to our personal lives being open-source material for every bored extortionist with an internet connection.
