Cisco’s sixth zero-day this year
Cisco has gifted us a sixth SD-WAN zero-day for 2026, because five just was not enough to keep us busy. I am starting to think they are doing this just to see if we are paying attention.

The Full Story
Here we go again with Cisco patching yet another SD-WAN zero-day, marking the sixth time this year they have left the front door wide open for sophisticated actors. This particular oversight impacts anyone foolish enough to rely on their networking kit without expecting a weekly emergency patch session. Protecting ourselves involves the usual soul-crushing cycle of emergency updates and hoping the next zero-day arrives on a day we are not already drowning in tickets. If we really wanted to be safe, we would probably just go back to using carrier pigeons, as they rarely suffer from CVE-2026-20182 or require firmware updates.
