CISA Admits Everything Is Broken

Our friends at CISA have finally accepted reality with their CI Fortify initiative, providing critical infrastructure operators with a handy guide for when their systems inevitably fall over. The advice focuses on managing services in a "degraded state," which is basically my default setting on a Monday morning. These poor souls are now being told to treat every third-party connection and upstream dependency as a potential traitor waiting to ruin their day. To survive this particular nightmare, one must assume everything outside their immediate control is poisoned and plan for the worst-case scenario accordingly.
