Here we go again with Qilin demanding a nice chat and money from UK firm AP Capital Partners Limited before corporate and financial datasets get sprayed across the internet. It seems their central digital assets weren't quite as locked down as management probably told the board. If anyone actually fancied protecting their own digital estate from identical extortion, they might try securing their central data properly before triggering post-breach compromise assessments. Just another Tuesday in IT, really.
