Another Sunday, Another Retail Hack

Here we go again with TFG London and their Hobbs and Phase Eight shoppers enduring yet another weekend cybersecurity incident. It seems identifying these digital embarrassments on a Sunday is now considered peak operational efficiency. Rather than enjoying quiet retail therapy, disrupted customers received standard apologies while H and M probes their own lovely hack claims. One supposedly shields against this chaos by belatedly identifying incidents and managing disruption, though why we bother pretending apologies prevent outages is beyond me. Just another grim Tuesday in IT.
