An ASOS worker kindly handed credentials to an impersonator, leaking customer names from third-party platforms. Why bother with security training at all?

The Full Story
Here we go again, as some helpful ASOS staffer cheerfully surrendered their credentials to an impersonator, because checking who you are talking to is apparently too taxing. Naturally, this careless generosity exposed customer contact details parked on third-party platforms. To shield ourselves from this wearying farce, staff must actually verify contacts before giving away logins, rather than trusting every charming stranger. Payment details survived, but my dwindling will to live in IT did not.
