Another Oracle crisis to ignore

Oracle has gifted us with more urgent security updates for things like their Database Server and E-Business Suite because a vulnerability managed to score a perfect ten on the panic scale. Apparently, unauthenticated attackers can just politely take over our entire systems now. To shield ourselves from this latest administrative joy, we are supposedly meant to install these patches, assuming our ancient, fragile infrastructure doesn't crumble to dust the moment we try.
