Here we go again with Medtronic sending millions of polite letters after the ShinyHunters extortionists spent a lovely week in April rummaging through their systems. Over 3.8 million patients get to enjoy the fallout of this massive data haul, though at least their actual medical devices weren't compromised. Guarding ourselves from similar external system intrusions means we must actually monitor access points and audit who is wandering around our networks, assuming anyone has the energy left to do so.
