Another Joyous Round of Patches
Zoom and Splunk have blessed us with more critical updates to fix their leaky software. I suppose we should stop our actual jobs to apply these.

The Full Story
It seems Zoom Workplace for Windows users were apparently just one unauthenticated click away from giving their accounts to strangers, while Splunk Enterprise admins got to juggle path traversal and info disclosure flaws. To make things even more delightful, we also get to chase down critical issues in third-party libraries like OpenSSL and Golang. If you fancy keeping your systems somewhat secure, you'll have to stop whatever productive task you were doing and deploy these security updates. I am sure these patches will definitely not break anything else this week.
