Another Hardcoded Cisco Masterpiece
Cisco patched an exploited firewall zero-day caused by static built-in credentials. Because why not leave default logins in enterprise security kit?

The Full Story
In what can only be described as a masterclass in enterprise security engineering, Cisco has graciously patched an actively exploited zero-day flaw, CVE-2026-20316, lurking within their Secure Firewall Management Center software. This delightful oversight left federal agencies and corporate admins relying on static, built-in credentials for a low-privilege user, handily letting unauthorized scoundrels pluck sensitive data at will. Naturally, CISA has added this gem to their catalog with mandatory patching deadlines. If we want to vaguely protect our networks, we must once again drop everything to apply Cisco's urgent patch before CISA starts yelling.
