AI Finds A Two Year Old Redis Bug
An autonomous AI tool has dug up a two-year-old remote code execution flaw in Redis. Clearly, our manual auditing is doing wonders.

The Full Story
Redis has patched a lovely use-after-free flaw in its blocking-client code that let authenticated users run arbitrary OS commands on our servers. This two-year-old headache was finally uncovered by an autonomous AI tool, because apparently humans were far too busy to notice. Securing our precious databases from this ancient oversight requires actually applying the newly released patch. It is a shocking concept, I know, but we might want to try patching it before the attackers do.
