Because human-made bugs were apparently not keeping us busy enough, PortSwigger unleashed an AI tool called HTTP Terminator that generated 30,000 request desync attack vectors. Automated scans promptly exposed 700 vulnerable target systems across global web infrastructure and unearthed a brand-new zero-day vulnerability lurking inside Apache. To protect ourselves from this automated chaos, administrators must scramble to apply the newly released Apache patch and secure their vulnerable web infrastructure before the bots find them.
