The Full Story
Alabama-based River Bank & Trust has filed a sad little disclosure admitting that hackers spent days snooping around before deploying ransomware. This delightful intrusion has left the bank's entire network in a sorry state, affecting customers who foolishly trusted them with their data. We protect ourselves now by watching lawyers try to scramble for a class-action lawsuit to salvage whatever dignity is left after the horse has bolted. I am sure a strongly worded legal filing will completely undo the encryption and restore everyone's peace of mind.
